The goal of this project was to design a public space for the community of Travelers Rest that can be connected to the proposed Enoree River Trail. The space also communicates the vitality of the Santee River watershed and its regional impact.

The project accomplishes this by featuring artistic vistas that are inspired by verses found in the poetry of South Carolina writers, specifically about rivers found in the watershed. The site combines art, education, and play in a form that magnifies the creative vibrancy of the town of Travelers Rest.​​
